🚀 From Valencia to the Red Bull Basement World Final in San Francisco

Huge congratulations to Hugo Lluch and Alejandro Aymerich for winning the Spanish National Final of Red Bull Basement 2026 with their project Biosoil Technologies.

Their startup, born at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), focuses on regenerating degraded soil through synthetic biology and engineered bacterial communities, tackling one of the major environmental challenges of the coming decades.

As winners, they will now represent Spain at the Red Bull Basement World Final in San Francisco, one of the world’s leading hubs for technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation, where they will connect with international founders, mentors, investors, and accelerators.

Hugo is also part of the CDTM Valencia Winter 2026 class, and we are proud to see members of our community building ambitious projects with real-world impact.

If you want to become part of the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs, applications for the CDTM Valencia Summer 2026 class are open until 17.05.2026.
